Alcohol Freezing Point Calculator
Estimate when an ethanol-and-water mixture will begin forming ice, and whether your limoncello is likely to stay pourable in a typical freezer.
Your bottle
At this setting, some water may crystallize. The bottle should not freeze into a uniform solid all at once.
What this estimate means
The result is linearly interpolated from published ethanol–water freezing data. It estimates when the first ice begins to form—not when the entire bottle becomes solid.
Sugar and other dissolved ingredients generally lower the freezing point further, so finished limoncello may remain softer than this ethanol-only estimate suggests. Freezer temperatures also cycle. Treat the result as a practical guide, not laboratory certification.
